Poor bunny, too much harassment from his inner critic has pushed him over the edge.......This is a piece I have been working on for months and just recently finished. I think it is a perfect fit for this weeks topic.
It's approximately 18"x24" on Ingres paper.
It is a mixed media piece combining collage, watercolor, acrylic and pencil.

Wow, how bizarre. He really looks like he's gone over the edge, for sure. Great textures!
Stunning, disturbing. Wonderful soft and serene color scheme to present the unsettling subject matter.
Wow!
Hi Jean, I enjoyed this "cracked" post. It seems that both the clown (inner critic) and the bunny are definitely cracked... the inner critic, though attempting to control the bridled bunny by the teeth (instead of with the normal "horse type" bit) does not have full control. It appears that this may not be the best means of controlling an inner critic... The bunny has a wild cracked look on his face and seems determined to race out against the clown's (inner critic's)control... which is the good thing, because it mean the bunny still has some control over his inner critic. Tell that bunny to keep working against that inner critic. It always pays off. (: This piece definitely captured the whole "cracked" topic very well... subjects, composition, and colors tell me of the struggle very well. Keep on. Lovely. (:
Thought I'd return the favor and comment! I love the textures here, and all the details you notice upon closer inspection. Like, the wing! Juicy...
OMG! Your work is terrific, intense and diverse. WOW!
Great! Thank you...
really great work. you have a wonderful illustration style.
Very nicely done! I like the balance between the dreaminess and the unsettling-ness(?) It reminds me of a Chagall painting gone darker. I like your style.
very nice piece
